First, a note: Yes, I am a gun advocate, but I am not YOUR lawyer. This article is just informative and my thoughts – this is not legal advice. Excellent product, great praise for the design that allows us to be legal in the People`s Republic of New York. Damn it, an idea! You no longer need to break the action every time you need to recharge and wear out the receiver holes, the steel pin making it sloppy. Faster reload time and faster return to destination. Works well and looks robust so far. Recommend it to those who are stuck in the anti-2A states controlled by DemoRAT! First, I will introduce some legal concepts, and then I will explain the opinion of the ninth circle. At present, the current ambiguity and technical status of the law make me believe that it is NOT legal. again. Excellent quality and easy to install and hopefully when it is allowed by law to uninstall.
Easier to charge than a typical P-Mag too. However, it also raises a huge question: Does it mean it`s legal for California residents to buy “high-capacity magazines” (or for companies to ship “high-capacity magazines” to California)? Very happy that my AR-15 California is now legal without any major changes. Very easy to install. California stinks. I tried it with a Megafin without function, but I hated it. Juggernaut Tactical is interesting, but I didn`t like the position of the button as it interfered with the safety lever. There are other problems as well. The Compmag turns your rifle into a firing barrel, and you have to be careful to load the cartridges, as they can rotate 90 degrees in the mag (before letting go of the trailer) and then it`s a bit of a pain to clean.
But (1) it`s a simple but ingenious device that`s easy to install, (2) I`m sure it`s legal, (3) I can keep all my bad traits, (4) if I go to a healthy state like Arizona, I can easily remove the CompMag and quickly have a real gun again. – I give CompMag five stars because it did what I expected it to do. Let me try to explain how we go through the legal history of the california magazine ban a bit. It`s a great product. Made my AR California legal. Very easy to install. I can`t wait for there to be a CompMag for my AK. I really like the idea of this product. I prefer to perform all the functions on my Ar, and this seems to be the way to do it. It`s easy to install and actually looks better than the 10-rpm mag that we, the unfortunate California residents, have to use. I would have recommended this magazine. Thus, in order to avoid another “week of freedom”, the “stay” could remain and the law could still remain until the legal dispute is finally over.
Well, despite the victory of the ninth circle, the final legal status of the trial is still unclear. First, there could be a “bench” review where the case would be heard by all the judges in the Ninth District, not just the four-member jury. Second, the case could be challenged above and accepted by the U.S. Supreme Court. If you`re an AR-owned CA, the beautifully designed CompMag device allows you to easily turn your AR into a legal solid mag weapon (for now!!) with just 10 hits, eliminating the need to remove other “evil” features that are on your AR. It`s easy to install and easy to remove when you finally realize the dream of entering a red state that takes freedom seriously. It is easier to load than a regular P-Mag or any other Mag. In addition, the end result of the installation for Left Wankel seems even more “diabolical” than your old 10-rpm short mag, but it only lasts 10 laps.
Looks like a banana magazine with 30-40 rounds, ha ha. Of course, this look might force you to explain yourself, but I think you can be put in that position with AR these days in this state. To defend myself against this, I decided to laminate the CRPA flowchart, which shows what is legal and what is not, and insert it into my AR folder. You could do all sorts of other things to legalize your AR, like removing all the “evil” features, the presence of a strange warehouse, turning to Rimfire, or even signing up if you think it`s a great plan, but the CompMag is fast, simple, inexpensive, easily reversible, and it certainly felt like a great plan to me. It is well made and parts are available. It`s an easy way to get your AR-15 legally in California! Just insert the Mag, lock it and voila! A simple and effective way to legalize your AR-15 requires no major changes and lost or misplaced coins. Without a doubt, the best way to make your CA rifle legal, super easy to install and use. An important legal test from D.C. v.
In the case of Supreme Heller Court, the objective is to determine whether the firearms law in question prohibits a firearm (in this case, a component) that is often used for lawful purposes by law-abiding citizens. Here, I will oversimplify some legal concepts in the hope of clearly explaining what is happening here. While a legal victory has been won against the California magazine ban, there is a legal formality that maintains the ban (for now). So, since there are still legal options for California, there`s a chance that California will end up winning — especially with a “bench” exam. I am not sure that the recent verdict will survive, although it should be due to the history of the Ninth Circle. This magazine is amazing! It`s easy to charge, the towers run very well and, most importantly, I don`t need to open my gun to make it CA legal! Easier to load than a regular magazine and easy to install! I recommend it for all those pdicular AC restrictions! I will buy more! I was informed by a friend of Compmag and had to legalize my AR. It only took 15 seconds to install it and if you`re stepping out of the state, you can remove it If you live in Comyfornia and need a great easy way to be legal, go for compmag. You will not be disappointed. The committee found that even an interim review of California Penal Code Section 32310 would still fail. The Committee concluded that, even if the interests expressed by the State were classified as “significant”, the means chosen to promote those interests were not substantially related to their service. I really recommend the Compmag! This is, in my honest opinion, the best California compliment try you can buy for your AR! Practicality – Aesthetics 5/5 – 5/5 Innovation – 5/5 It is a great product, it looks good, it is solidly built and makes it much easier to load instead of opening the rod and wearing out the pins.
I live in Mew York, and I don`t like the idea of putting epoxy resin on the screw because when I go to PA, I remove it to use regular magazines. Just put a little blue loctite on the screw just to say you stuck it and call it one day, what are they going to do, open your gun on the side of the road to check it? Doubtful. However; This can be used in conjunction with a Mag lock, which is also reversible and disables the Mag trigger until you remove the Shimmy. So if you use both, you`re NY compliant. But otherwise, the comp mag is a guarantee in itself, because the mag is technically fixed and cannot be removed if installed correctly. So what level of control is used as a test for laws that violate the Second Amendment? It is not clear. I have no problems with standard PEMs in any of my AR-15s, but they can cause problems in some HK rifles and some other types of semi-automatic rifles like the STEYr AUGs. I found this device easy to install and seems to be well done.
The Committee concluded that Section 32310 of the California Penal Code had not survived rigorous scrutiny. First, the panel concluded that the state interests put forward here were compelling: the prevention and mitigation of armed violence. Second, the Panel concluded that Article 32310 was not narrowly suited to satisfy the best interests of the State it would have served, since the method chosen by the State – a general national prohibition of possession anywhere and for almost everyone – was not the least restrictive means of achieving higher interests. I bought it for my first AR version and to be as compliant as possible with NY, I know it hasn`t been confirmed as NY compliant, but between the epoxy resin and an extra adjustment screw for my mag release (which is also epoxidized), it doesn`t come out of the bottom so quickly. Super easy to charge, works like a charm and looks great too! If you live in a limited state and want a simple charging system, this is the place to be. The CompMag is a good system to ensure that your modern sports rifle is California compliant and has minimal deviations from what makes an AR-15 an AR-15.
